Practical answers before you get started.
Acceptance and service decisions depend on the material, volume, location, contamination and available recovery pathways.
What information should I provide for a quote?
Send the material type, approximate volume or weight, photos, pickup or delivery location, frequency and the outcome you are trying to achieve.
Does Harvest accept every type of waste?
No. Some materials are generally accepted, some require review, and hazardous or restricted materials are not accepted without prior written approval.
Can Harvest collect large appliances and bulky items?
Harvest can review appliance and bulky-item collection needs. Depending on condition, items may be directed toward reuse, donation, component recovery or material processing.
Are briquettes, pellets and RDF commercially available?
These are development programs. Availability and suitability depend on testing, feedstock, customer requirements and validated end-use applications.
Where does Harvest provide service?
Harvest serves Calgary and Alberta. Opportunities elsewhere are reviewed individually based on project scope and logistics.
How quickly will Harvest respond?
Harvest aims to respond during business hours. Complex material questions may require additional photos, samples or technical review.
Can I deliver material without confirmation?
No. Contact Harvest first and obtain confirmation, especially for mixed, contaminated, unusual or restricted materials.
Does Harvest provide waste assessments?
Yes. A waste assessment reviews material composition, volume, handling, contamination, logistics and potential recovery options.
Can research organizations or technology companies partner with Harvest?
Yes. Use the Innovation or Research Partnership inquiry type and describe the technology, research objective, proposed role and timeline.
How do I report a website or service issue?
Use the General Inquiry form or email info@harvestrecycling.ca with details and screenshots where helpful.
